My 2nd Trip.
I hope my blog viewers have watched the below video clip. So don't think that China is still lagging behind the world. This country is developing, not only on the industries but also on the entertainment area. The video clip show is just the beginning of the night event in the pub. The objective is to warm up all the customers engine. After a long day working, everyone just want to have quiet a place to rest. But in NingBo, this is not. It is better to go to the pub to release your stress. FYI, I m very enjoying the life in NingBo. The pub has no age limit, I do see a family just bring their 3 yrs old kid to have fun in the pub.
The price for a bottle of Chivas come with 4 bottles of 500ml of green tea and a plate of fruit cost RMB$580. So additional bottle of green tea is just RMB$25. Unfinish Liquor can be keep for a month (same rules as in Sin) For this trip, I spent about RMB$2000, really a big hole in my pocket. Anyway, I need to thanks my buddies for their donation during the Mahjong session in the CNY period, enough for me to cover this trip expense.

China, NingBo ( Da Lu Mei)
This is the 1st time i was on my business trip to NingBo in China with my manager. The weather is quite cold about 4 deg Cel. As usual, when i stepped into the factory, the management took me around the factory to see how the production was operated. I was also given a "green light" to take any photo.
As the manufacturing manager introducing and explaining the production operation, for not wasting time, I also began doing my "QC screening" on the "China product".
So far, only these 2 products passed.
After coming back to Sin, I did some research about this town. They do have pubs. I know my next trip objectives.

Feelings :
So many years of gambling, i don't feel regret. i even consider gambling as a career. Recently, i ever with a capital of S$2k, win S$23k. I not kidding. My friends will very curious how i do it. Gambling is just like battle, it has its strategy. The 2 main keys are 1) Use ur winning money and whack, not use ur own capital to whack and 2) Don't bring too much money to gamble, $2k to $3k is enough, if lose, stop for the day, don't borrow from others. For me, i always lose on the 2nd principles.

Boxing Day -- 3 April 2000 :
After I managed to find S$2k, I linked up with Mr She and Dom. and booked the earliest ferry to "The Ship". As usual, i went to the Bacarrat corner. I told myself that i will call it a day only if i win S$10K or lose S$2k. Those games i feel confident then i bet, eventually i hit about S$7k with my betting stack between S$200 to S$1k within 7 hrs. To faster reach my S$10K objectives, i increase my stack to S$2K. This was the turning point, i lose the bet. i began to lose control, just whack, hoping to win back. Eventually, i lose back my winning and my S$2k capital.
While waiting for the last ferry to be back Sin, i just keep thinking why i cant control my betting behaviour. I know i will go crazy if i cant stop thinking of the incident. So when i Reach Singapore World Trade Centre (current known as HarbourFront), i decided to walk back home--Ang Mo Kio. It took me about 3 hrs. I really have a good sleep after the shower.

LOST :
After that defeat, my mind kept thinking of it, just can't concentrate on my work. Once during my off day, i will go up with Shawn to gamble. I began to learn how to bet the game, Bacarrat. At that moment, gambling becomes my main job. Slowly, our group recuited new Kakis,there are Mr She, Mr Dominic and some "Sailers" from Pulau Brani.In the beginning, when we are goods, after reaching Sin, we will go pub and have drinks. We will enjoying our lives. Later, all start to downfall, some begin to quit this gambling habit. Shawn and me are also heavily loss.But we still keep going to the ship during our off day. we have the spirit of "Never Say Die". Basically, all our hard earn money and savings had deposited into the Ship "Safe Box". My
Boxing day is on 3 Apr 2000 after we have celebrated Dominic Birthday, the night before. It include a "Road March". Stay Tune

2nd Trip: 8 Jan 2000
On the journey to the ship, my morale was very high. Still thinking of my 1st trip victory. Once i boarded the ship, i did a quick assault towards 6th floor, the gambling level. I quickly change my bullet, cash to chip, and ran towards my battlefield, 3 Cards Game. I took up the position and begin the game. As usual, i started with $100, within 30 minutes i lost my $2000. At that moment i feel very confused. My mind was thinking how to win back the money, so I apporached my friend to lend me some. However, it did not help, it caused me to lose more. We even missed our last ferry back to Sin. My buddy and me were sadly sitting on the bench, looking at the open sea waiting for the next day 1st ferry back to Sin.

Before going to casino ship, most of my free time is playing mahjong with my buddy, Shawn and some unknown Shawn Campmates. Most of the times I end up as the winner. eventually, his friends don't dare to play mahjong with me, Every session, i win about $300 on mahjong, some even call me " Mahjong King". To cover the loss on the revenue, the only solution is to go to the casino ship to cover the loss. So my 2nd trip to the ship is on 8 Jan 2000. The beginning of my nightmare life began....

From my passport, my 1st time to this casino ship was on 5 Jan 2000. When I aboarded the ship, my buddy of 15 years, Shawn showed me around the ship. After having a light meal at the ship canteen, we take a direct bearing towards the casino hall. Everythings looked the same as what we see in the movie. You had to change your cash to gambling chips before you can start betting any games. There are many kinds of games, the game that i know is the 3 cards game.
I start betting with S$100 to S$200 on the 3 cards game. Within an hour, i made an profit of S$1000+, and i stop and cash out. At that moment winning S$1000+ to me is my half month gross pay at STM. i was very joyful at that moment at my 1st time touched a S$1000 note. later bad news diffuse to my ear, my Hero Shawn make a loss. During our journey back, some ideas came across my mind- Gambling can make a living.........

A Gambler's Life
I would first like to start my blog with my history. It was a wonderful summer of 1999 when i was still a innocent boy. A good friend of mine from my secondary school shawn introduced me to a friend of his. His friend then brought us up to a casino ship which he claimed that the trip was a leisure one. To my surprise, he was actually a junket's brother working onboard the ship earning commission. That was the turning point of my life that ruined my whole life.
I was wondering if we can turn back the clock in order for me to redeem myself. Is that possible? Well, everything that goes up needs to come down and that includes me. I will slowly tell me story part by part whenever i am free to blog. Stay tuned.
